Assistance for Non-profit Organizations
There are a number of assistance programs that are available to Baie-Comeau non-profit organizations. The websites listed below are all excellent sources of information:
- The Small Business Administration (SBA) is an independent agency of the federal government set up to aid, counsel, assist, and protect the interests of small business concerns.
- Nonprofit.gov provides a list of resources for non-profit organizations.
- The online Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) is a comprehensive list of all federal assistance programs.
- Grants.gov helps state and local governments, academia, non-profits, and other organizations locate and apply for grants for which they may qualify.
- The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) is a non-profit organization of retired business executives who donate their time and expertise to people who own a business. You can call your local SCORE office and request information about programs you might qualify for as a non-profit.
You might want to also consider seeking private sector funding. Start by contacting some larger organizations that share common ground or interest with yours.
